Hello!

We are Ben and Christian Bassos, two brothers from Queensland with combined professional backgrounds in industrial safety, e-commerce, and customer service. Our photoelectric smoke alarm website was successfully launched in 2019 to help improve fire protection safety in Australian households.

Being landlords ourselves, we wanted to find a safe, hassle-free and affordable solution to the new QLD interconnected photoelectric smoke detector laws.

We researched many different interconnected photoelectric smoke alarm manufacturers and trialed a number of products. During this process we gained a unique insight into what makes some interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms better (or poorer) than others being sold on the Aussie market. ZEN Smoke Alarms is a result of that intensive research. We genuinely believe ours are the best on the market.
